Sometimes a devastating fire can make a forest stronger.--I'm an avid learner who loves to read, discover new places, and unearth new ways to build a more socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable future for all.In the spring of 2023, I graduated with a B.S. Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University with Magna Cum Laude. I also specialized in Alternative Energy and minored in Business to further learn about my interests. While on campus, I was also an RA, Head RA, and front desk assistant in Thompson Hall, as well as the treasurer and president of SAGE, a community-focused student-led organization.To complement the things I learned in the classroom, I completed eight co-op rotations with Schaeffler Group, a leading global automotive and industrial supplier. Through this, I had the opportunity to gain experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, product design and development, corporate sustainability, and product carbon footprinting.I'm currently a systems engineer at Idle Smart, a cleantech startup in the transportation sector, where I'm optimizing and automating internal processes and systems (ie. attempting to organize chaos).I aspire to optimize our built world and better balance it with our natural world.I live by two mantras: (1) Solve problems, not symptoms and (2) Dare mighty things.
