I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics Engineering from the Institute of Technology and Higher Studies of Monterrey, Mexico. Originally from Mexico, we relocated to Florida about fifteen years ago. Several years in the manufacturing industry, instructing factory workers in quality assurance techniques, led me to discover a passion for teaching; later on, with two children of my own, forming children minds became a passion.For over 7 years, before relocating to Florida, I worked for a highly renowned K-12 private institution in Mexico, first as a high school physics and calculus teacher and later on as Middle and High School Science Department Head. In 2005, just 3 years after we moved to Florida, I launched Bright & Smart. My company's mission is to teach children basic engineering skills in a joyful way and facilitate the development of their higher cognitive skills while giving them the opportunity to discover and develop their natural abilities. I love spending my time developing curriculum and programs that might help children pursue their dreams. Besides that, on my free time, sailing is my other passion.
