Ms. Bright has over 30 years of experience in the communications field. For the past 20 years at Battelle, the largest independent applied science and technology nonprofit, she has focused primarily on Federal Government proposal development. In the Proposal Center, Ms. Bright edits Battelle's largest and most strategic proposals. She also edits or proofreads technical reports and marketing materials for a variety of Battelle markets encompassing health, national security, environment, infrastructure, and industry. Her previous responsibilities at Battelle have included managing the Proposal Center's editing, desktop publishing, and SharePoint administration staff; assisting technical teams as a proposal specialist; and serving as a senior technical writer/editor. Before joining Battelle, Ms. Bright was a corporate communications program manager responsible for researching, drafting, and editing marketing materials across multiple distribution channels for BISYS, a $950-million financial services outsourcing company that was subsequently acquired by Citi. Ms. Bright also previously coordinated marketing and communications programs for Paul Werth Associates, a Silver Anvil Award-winning public relations firm in Columbus. Ms. Bright earned a B.S. in both marketing and business management from Franklin University in Columbus, OH. She holds Foundation certification from the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (CF APMP), and she has received several outstanding performance awards for her work at Battelle.
