Research focused on perception, robotics, and computer vision, including perception for robotics capabilities such as mapping and localization, human-robot collaboration, grasping and manipulation, and autonomous exploration and active perception, developing novel solutions to address applications including robot-enabled manufacturing and assembly, automated visual inspection, and in situ process monitoring. Experience with various DL frameworks as well as classical (non-ML) computer vision algorithms.

Member of autonomy team in flight controls at Sikorsky. Worked on developing perception algorithms for autonomous helicopter flight including detection and state estimation, supporting DARPA ALIAS program through writing and executing test procedures, and defining test protocols and standards for new hardware supporting autonomy capabilities as an update to previous FBW systems. Supported flight tests for both Sikorsky Autonomous Research Aircraft and Cessna 208 for DARPA ALIAS program.

Served as head tour guide for tours focusing on the Yale School of Engineering and Applied Science.

Selected by faculty to serve as tutor to undergraduates for EENG 320 - Introduction to Semiconductor Devices.

Researched under the guidance of Professor Kumpati S. Narendra of the Yale Center for Systems Science, focusing on pattern recognition, neural networks, and adaptive control systems.

Worked as an electrical engineering intern. I was involved in a project developing an EEG-based biofeedback device and focused on signal transmission and filtering, hardware development, and physical implementation of sensors.

Under the guidance of Professor Sarah Demers of Yale's Department of Physics, my work for the ATLAS Experiment at CERN focused on tau leptons, particularly tau data quality and reconstruction and included serving both online and offline tau data quality shifts, contributing to two publications on tau data quality, implementing automated checks on reliability of data measured by the ATLAS detector, and developing statistics for the electron veto used in tau reconstruction. Method for tau identification I gained experience with were primarily threshold-based, though also included exposure to artificial neural network and boosted decision tree based techniques.

I worked under the guidance Professor Nabil Simaan in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Columbia University's Advanced Robotics and Mechanisms Applications (ARMA) Lab (now of Vanderbilt University). My work included designing a printed circuit board for a graduate student's project, exploration of the elasticity of silicone elastomers for the purpose of simulating human tissue in experiments, interpretation of data sheets and researching parts and materials for projects, development of technical writing and presentation skills, kinematic modeling of a robotic gripper, and modeling the kinematics of a robotic gripper through MATLAB.
