Hi! I’m Brigitte Chenevert, I’m a marketer, singer, and improviser. I love escape rooms and rock climbing, and adore team bonding activities.In my senior year of high school, I was elected to be the President of the choir and theatre departments where I was asked to run the social media page. My favorite part of the role was being able to inspire a group's investment in a page by including the community in my coverage of events. The insight I gained was that authenticity, inclusivity, and marketing went hand-in-hand and you could use all three concepts to inspire a community's support. Therefore, I became a marketing major and was hired by the College of Business to manage their social media team so that I could create that same inspiration for a wider audience. On the OSU College of Business social media team, I learned the advantage of having creative people to bounce ideas off of, I focused my research on marketing trends in higher education, and I went viral! I was promoted to manager where having a flexible creative mindset increased followers, visibility and brand recognition on campus. This also led me to join the Marketing Club at OSU, the largest club on campus, of which I’m was elected the President of this year. I manage an executive team where I emphasize the importance of a strong moral code, assumption of positive intent, and my love of team bonding activities so we can bring our members a great experience every week. I'm currently a senior studying a Marketing major and a Music minor at Oregon State University and I'm looking for a marketing position for a company that values building long-term relationships and creative-problem solving where I can utilize my experience in social media marketing and marketing campaign creation!
