Is it possible for women to 'have it all'? I don't know but I'm super proud of the company I have established, along with my partner (in life and business), over the last 20 years. I have had 2 significant and equally rewarding ongoing projects running. The first being our family, the second being our business. Cover Craft was established from the ground up. Officially launching in 2004, there were many years beforehand setting the groundwork for this business. The mid-night oil was well and truly burned!While my husband has co-ordinated the manufacturing operations, I have overseen all administration from client bookings to recruitment to accounts to payroll to social media management. Not to mention cleaning toilets. Many an hour was spent with toddlers underfoot and breastfeeding at my desk. I'm not afraid to bring attention to this, it is a common reality for many women in business.We are currently working exclusively with Australia's most reputable boat brands including Malibu Boats, Bar Crusher Boats and Ski Craft Boats providing custom covers. Through our contacts with local dealers, we also work on Quintrex boats and countless other brands. We also cater to the general public.Recently our upholstery department has facilitated a reproduction run of Malibu vinyls and we have procured an extensive range of discontinued original vinyls from the Malibu factory. We can now support Malibu owners will all-new interiors using original factory specification vinyls and we are currently filling orders from customers Australia wide.Prior experience: employed by the Victorian Department of Education as a classroom teacher.
