Download PeopleSoft reports and prepare the draws for HUD reimbursement of expenditures.• Communicate with HCSD staff and assist with generating and reviewing reports, meeting critical deadlines and streamlining processes to create efficiency and ensure accuracy. Train staff on how to download PeopleSoft reports to meet their reporting needs.• Provide financial data for the NCIP Committee Meeting Report and attend meetings.Duties in Finance include:• Create and enter journal entries to record HUD and BMP daily, monthly and yearly activity in three ledgers – actual, budget and commitment control.• Prepare the HUD and BMP financial statements and input into the City's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).• Prepare the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA), assist with the Single Audit, and provide external auditors with Prepared By Client (PBC) requests.• Reconcile G/L accounts, analyze variances and create adjusting journals to correct all ledgers in PeopleSoft. • Track budget, correct or update as necessary and communicate changes to staff.• Review and approve Agenda Reports before their submittal to Council.
