I trained as an interior designer in the early 90s. Having started work as an interior designer I founded the first lifestyle store in Colchester called Simply Living which has been a destination store ever since. in order to show off our extensive collection of furniture, furnishing fabrics, flooring and lighting we moved to our current showroom 4 years ago. Our most recent projects include a client who moved out of London to a lovely 4 bedroom country cottage which was in full need of refurbishment. We helped the client to fulfil her vision by sourcing, designing and supplying a new kitchen, bathrooms, all soft furnishings, flooring, lighting and new furniture.Another of our recent commissions was to help a client with the refurbishment of a 10 bedroom country house. The client is based in Singapore and a lot of the design consultation took place via FaceTime. We specialize in full home refurbishments but are also very happy to take on smaller projects ranging from re-covering a chair to small and large window treatments.Aside from residential customers we also count commercial businesses amongst our clients. A recent commission was to refurbish four city apartments for a London based bank.Our customers can be found all over the country and as far as the South of France, Majorca, New York and Vienna.
