I spent most of my career at Nordstrom. I started shortly after college and got into management quick. I managed several departments men's and women's before become a buyer of men's contemporary apparel for 6 years. I moved with my family from Chicago land area to Detroit suburbs and took a year off to settle in. Having time off was great but soon I landed a job as buyer for a wholesale beauty distributor called The Nailco Group out of Farmington Hills, Michigan. I spent a little less year there learning the wholesale side of business and the power of catalog but the long commute was hard on myself and family. I now work for Summit Sports Inc. in Bloomfield Hills. Being back in fashion is where my roots are and the internet business is opening my eyes to another avenue of big business much different than store buying. Our company was just named in top 100 internet retail companys which is a huge accomplishment.
