Supporting the mission, as Chief Executive Officer/ Executive Director, we thrive to provide academic counseling and advising to students across San Diego to build a rewarding career. We have over $2,600,000+ dollars in grant funding to serve our students and together we provide counseling, training, critical Dept. of Education data, and educational enrichment services to our partnering schools. My position involves overseeing the entire organization, including: administration, property management, human resources, grant funding, curriculum development, community and school relations, Board of Directors and staff leadership.• Serve as a transformational leader to facilitate the agency’s overall operations, including leadership to over 35+ staff members, oversight of all grant projects, and leading the organization to accomplish all objectives and goals, while inspiring the program directors to always do what is best for students.• Partnering with 5 school districts within San Diego County at 14 public high schools and 4 adult schools, serve as the chief spokesperson for the 501 (c)(3) organization to ensure specialized counseling, academic instruction, and tutoring services reach under-represented students, approximately serving over 3,500+ students through our 6 projects.
