This hands-on experience has provided me with insights into the confidential nature of the industry, alongside the workings of mental health services.Additionally, balancing my studies with this role has helped me strengthen my strong organisational skills, working in Nookal to manage clients for the psychologists, as well as refine my communication skills with the senior psychologists I work with. More than the psychological background I have from my undergraduate degree, by working closely with the senior psychologist at this practice, I have enhanced my understanding of real-world psychological practice, and the administrative knowledge required to run a psychology practice as a private business.
