Speech Language Pathologist
CurrentSpeech and Language Pathologist serving kindergarten through fifth-grade students in a diverse, growing, and inclusive school district. Job duties include:- Case management of students with significant speech and language impairments impacting their education.- Educate teachers, aides, and other service providers on communication needs and supports.- Lead team meetings for annual IEPs, Eligibility meetings, and Review of Existing data meetings.- Provide therapy individually, in groups, and in the classroom environment targeting functional communication, expressive language skills, receptive language skills, executive functioning, AAC, social language skills, and speech sound production skills. - Complete Evaluations and determine the need for services or discharge of services based on standardized testing, observations, caregiver and teacher interviews, dynamic assessments, and criterion-referenced assessments.
