I have grown as a teacher and as an individual and this is due to the wonderful experiences I have gained from my years of teaching. Each year has provided me with growth and rewarding educational experiences and I wish to continue seeking new avenues for advancement and growth. My teaching philosophy ensures that sound preparation translates into interesting and effective lesson delivery. My rapport with students has always ensured that I come across as being approachable but firm, flexible but organised. I expect high standards from my students as well as from myself. I think it is also essential to be prompt with all academic and non-academic deadlines and at the same time show enthusiasm for various school events and activities. I am an IBDP Biology teacher and examiner and over the last fourteen years in international school teaching. I have taught IGCSE, A Levels as well as IBDP. I have completed my M.Sc., specializing in Zoology, from the University of Mumbai. I also have a bachelor’s degree in education from the same university. My experience in a range of curricula and my academic depth equip me well to work in an academically demanding school. I am well versed with modern technology in use in the field of education. I have received special training in MS Word and data entry, Veracross and Moodle which are extensively used in modern education these days.
