Since 2004 I’ve been the MD of New Zealand School of Education (NZSE); and in 2015 the New Zealand Skills and Education Group (NZSEG) was formed. NZSEG comprises of 2 top quality Private Training Establishments (PTEs) that:✓ create different educational pathways for domestic and international students✓ deliver successful learning outcomes for career advancement, workforce development and high-quality education, responsive to business and industry needs✓ ensure our students benefit from the technical, theoretical knowledge and soft skills required to confidently enter the local and global workforce👨🏫MY VIEW ON EDUCATION It must be accessible to all students. Particularly those, disadvantaged, in lower socio-economic group and falling through the compulsory education system. The skills we teach at NZSEG are transferable, anywhere in New Zealand or globally, and can be applied to learners’ future lives and careers. Education is one of the most challenging industries, but a rewarding and satisfying one to work in. NZSEG has survived and thrived, by being agile and flexible in our approach and having rock-solid processes and strong networks in the education sector. My engineering background has helped develop these processes and procedures. Our track record of success with students and stability in the marketplace has led to consistent growth.
