During my MSc in Microbiology, I conducted groundbreaking research for my dissertation and thesis on the "Effect of Ascophyllum marine plant extract powder (AMPEP) in regulating phytohormones under temperature stress in Gracilaria dura." This research aimed to understand the potential of AMPEP in mitigating temperature-induced stress in marine algae, specifically focusing on its impact on phytohormone regulation.I exposed Gracilaria dura algae to different temperature regimes to simulate stress conditions and investigate the response mechanisms. Through this research, I developed expertise in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific writing. I successfully applied advanced techniques in molecular biology, biochemistry, and plant physiology to investigate the intricate mechanisms underlying the response of Gracilaria dura to temperature stress and the role of AMPEP in modulating phytohormones to enhance stress tolerance.My findings not only contributed to the field of marine biology but also provided valuable insights into the application of marine plant extracts in agriculture and environmental management. I am proud to have been part of this research, and I look forward to further exploring the potential of natural compounds in addressing environmental challenges.
