As a Visiting faculty in the Interdisciplinary Programme in Educational Technology (IDP-ET) at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, I have taught ET 601 (Introduction to Educational Technology) and ET 614 (Instructional Systems Design) for M.Tech and Ph.D students. In the ET 601 course, students used a backward design approach Instructional Design Model (IDM) to develop teaching modules. As part of the ET614 course, students participated in the prestigious AECT’s instructional design competition (to solve real world instructional problems). Three teams (total six students) were selected to the second phase of the design competition.In addition I Mentored ET student Sumitra Sadhukhan in the Digital Pedagogy MAKE-A-THON freestyle course-design competition by UNESCO MGIEP on Research Mindset Course Design. Established in 2009, the program has seen robust growth. With approximately 5,000 students currently enrolled and more than 5,000 alumni, the program is now one of the largest in the nation. As an Instructional Designer in the School of Nursing at Ohio University, I worked with faculty and subject matter experts to successfully design, implement, maintain and redesign online and hybrid courses. I assisted in design and development of new courses and revising of existing online and blended courses using Quality Matters rubrics to gauge the quality of the courses.

I was part of a team who delivers instructional technology support and service for more than 200 faculty and 4000 students in the College of Health Science and Profession (CHSP) Technology Center at Ohio University.Duties and Experience: • Developed and conducted technology related professional development and training for faculty, staff and students in LMS (Blackboard), Classroom response System, Cloud computing, Survey software (Qualtrics), Reference management software (Zotero), and iPad.• Took a major lead in creating an Instructional Design Lab to empower faculty to incorporate technology in their teaching and learning.• Took a major lead in designing the digital signage and work closely with technology coordinator, media specialist, and communication director of CHSP.• Assisted in the deployment and maintenance of two computer labs (80+ computers) and set up wireless and Ethernet connected laptops for exams.• Prepared and supervised more than 40 iPads and an Apple TV using Apple Configurator. • Developed a web application using Google forms for checking in and out technology equipment and software.• Used lecture capture software, Adobe Connect, to record in-class presentations.• Researched and evaluated current and emerging instructional technology tools; made recommendations as appropriate for higher education settings.
