Patton College of Education is part of Ohio University, which is located in a rural part of southeast Ohio. Since 2010, I have had the opportunity to teach a variety of instructional design and instructional technology courses in different modes – including online, hybrid and face-to-face – both at the graduate and undergraduate level at the Ohio University, Patton College of Education.Duties and Experience:• Instructor of record, Ohio University, Advanced Topics in Instructional Design (EDCT 6031), Spring 2013-14; Course Structure: Online; Level: Graduate. • Instructor of record, Ohio University, Technology Application in Education (EDCT 203) Fall 2012; Course Structure: Face to Face, Level: Under graduate..• Co-taught a graduate level hybrid (online and face-to-face) course (EDCT 501 Technology Application in Education) using Learning Management System (Blackboard) and Adobe Connect in Spring, 2010.• Reviewed undergraduate pre-service education students’ technology portfolios in LiveText to meet the ISTE National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) - Teacher Standards in Fall, 2011.• Worked with Quarter to Semester Syllabus Preparation Committee (Q2S) and prepared syllabus and assessment for NCATE based on NETS-Technology Facilitator and Coaches Standards (Winter, 2011). • As a teaching assistant I assisted faculty members with classroom instruction, exams, grading and prepared presentations for lectures, met with students during office hours and performed other teaching related duties.
