While doing the yearbook, I taught myself to stay on top of my objectives and keep a timely schedule. Between selling business ads, creating the yearbook, and staying informed of all school events for photography, I learned valuable lessons in management.

As co-captain, my role as a leader was crucial because I, over everyone else, needed to set the example. It is with this mindset that I was able to get so far in my sport. During my time, I’ve renovated the guard room, organized the costumes for two of our shows, and taught choreography for our movements.

I was a member of the cheer squad for two years in which we hosted not only many school spirited activities, but have also ran an annual summer cheer camp for the youth of our community to join and learn the basics of cheerleading.

Being a part of the Interact Club allowed me opportunities to be further engaged in my community. One of these opportunities included hosting a booth at our town's annual Monsters on Main where we encourage the young people of our community to engage with us in carnival like game.

As a member of my church who is now of age to give back, I work every summer as a part of our Vacation Bible School summer camp. Specifically, I tend to the arts and crafts portion of the classes and occasionally tend to the recreation team.

As a member of the Shall Go, I was able to inform my school's population with the latest events and how they turned out. With this opportunity, I furthered a positive influence on the sudents.
