Developed a high-load web crawler that collects user profile data from various social networks. Crawler collects data of all Russian-language profiles in large social networks monthly.Research of new social networks’ API, changes in existing crawlers, performance optimization, researching and fixing bugs in third-party libraries (e.g., Protobuf.net).Added capturing for a lot of metrics, that allowed diagnosing performance problems more quickly.Wrote typed wrapper for Akka.net untyped actors. Teammates found it pretty useful because it allowed them to quickly reason about the code and find usages of different actor messages.Akka.net, F# for scripting, MongoDB, TPL DataFlow, NUnit.

It was possible to build advanced search filters from the UI, which werecompiled into expression trees.Fully covered a new caching subsystem with BDD tests. Later, when this subsystem was released, my colleagues told me that number of bugs was very low due to high test coverage.

1. During the collaboration with Hewlett-Packard developed the custom document format to store and display summaries of lectures, taken by students, and API to manipulate them. Drag'n'drop, printing support, handwritten markups, extraction of links to external resources (e.g., images or fonts) and embedding these resources into the document.2. Developed the extensible set of wave physics demonstrations using Windows Forms. They were used at lectures at the Faculty of Physics at Moscow State University.3. Under the management of Microsoft Research Cambridge developed and supported the WPF-based high-performance library for scientific data visualization and charting.
