About Bri Gagné
Bri Gagné was born and raised outside New Haven, Connecticut, where they showed an early interest in writing, art, and music. Earning their bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Film Studies from University of Connecticut in 2016, they completed extensive coursework on British Modernist literature, creative writing, gender studies, and auteur and genre theory. After teaching English as a Second Language in Stuttgart, Germany, Bri completed their master’s degree in Elementary Education at Eastern Connecticut State University. They taught sixth-grade English for over 3 years before transitioning to a full-time career writing for Goodwin University and University of Bridgeport. As a copywriter for both universities, Bri pens enrollment-based content, career-focused articles, and interviews highlighting community members.As an author and artist, Bri aims to explore everyday existentialism and social dichotomies — exploring issues such as economic inequity, identity and isolation, and crises of faith.
