Development practitioner with passion for education, sustainable development and climate resilienceI’m a development practitioner with 20 years of experiences in programme management and development. My skills are augmented with first-hand experiences from my live and work in Kenya and Tanzania, adding contextual understanding, analytical skills and cultural sensitivity to my professional approach. My practical proficiency in the application of methodologies for assessing, designing, monitoring and managing grants are grown over time in relation to interventions in Africa, Middle East and Asia. In the past 14 years, I developed a particular interest and proficiencies in relation to education (access & quality) and climate resilience, which have tremendous impact on the sustainable livelihood of vulnerable communities. In this light, I regard, access to quality education as a vital driver for elevating livelihood and wellbeing for vulnerable and marginalized communities and the realisation of basic human rights.
