With events and handbooks offering in-depth analyses of data and privacy practices, we developed educational resources such as the Data Collaboration Platforms Explainer and the First Party Data Handbook, equipping professionals with tools to navigate the evolving landscape. The council also conducted industry surveys and events, revealing trends in first-party data usage and privacy preparedness. Through these efforts, we fostered a more informed and adaptable digital advertising ecosystem in Australia, helping businesses respond effectively to regulatory changes and technological shifts in data management and privacy protection leading up to draft privacy reform being introduced into the house. -
