Kirksey Architecture provides full service architectural designs. Work includes SmithCo, a small boutique office environment blending traditional and contemporary design. As project architect, I guided the team's design through documentation and construction.Targa Resources is a multi-level high rise tenant improvement project for which I served as project manager and project architect. I guided the design team through programming, design, and documentation and oversaw the construction. Setting client expectations, reviewing budgetary impacts, managing staff and executing drawings were my focuses. Conway MacKenzie is a small boutique financial services firm located in the penthouse of a downtown office building. I oversaw the design process and set up the project for construction documents.

Houston, Texas Area

PDR is an interior architecture firm focused on designing high performance workplaces. My roles included working through all aspects of a project from initial programming and design through documentation and construction administration. While at PDR, I worked on teams both large and small to provide spatial solutions that contribute to a productive and energetic work environment. As a project-based studio, I filled roles of project manager, project architect and designer on various projects. Notable project roles include: project architect for 860,000 SF corporate interiors in Calgary, Alberta and project architect/project manager for Houston furniture showroom. My copy writing skills were leveraged for the creation of a company monograph, "Collisions" (Images Publishing). My experience in social media helped launch the company's blogging initiative and streamline the website and digital communications efforts for the firm.
