My position at CVS Pharmacy has allowed me to gain knowledge in the Management industry. I am an Assistant Manager for the store while also being trained as a Store Manager. While working for CVS I obtained my pharmacy tech license to be able to assist in both front store and in pharmacy. In pharmacy I am responsible for filling prescriptions, checking in drop off prescriptions, receiving phone calls, and helping customers pick up prescription both in store and drive through. In the front of the store, I work with vendors to make sure pricing, ordering, delivery and merchandising is per CVS standards. I merchandise both seasonal and non seasonal aisles per planograms. As well as merchandising highest trafficked aisles based on highly demanded items. Other responsibilities include, store supply ordering, receiving and putting away shipment, inventory ordering, controlling discrepancies, scheduling and payroll, replenishing stock, taking and putting away shipment, cashiering, following up on customer service feedback, sales throughout the store, and opening and closing the store. I focus on recruiting hiring and training current and new employees. I am also able to motivate the team to meet store goals for our rewards program. I have worked full time at four different locations to help out; per DM request. I also had the privilege of setting up, opening, and work at the 10,000 CVS pharmacy store.
