HBCULinx was created to cultivate and encourage sustainable bonds of community through a Black relationship building platform, invest in the growth and stability of HBCU attendees/grads between ages 21-30, and nurture and support ALL Healthy Black Relationships!

In this role, I coordinated, developed, and implemented various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel, including EEO reporting, benefits enrollment, and new hire onboarding (such as I-9 verification). I managed offboarding processes through Jira ticket management and ensured compliance with state and federal legislation. I conducted new employee orientations for all levels of staff, providing a thorough understanding of benefit plans, HR policies, and enrollment provisions. Additionally, I handled bi-weekly payroll input for the Customer Service team and maintained employee personnel files in an organized, secure, and confidential manner. I ensured adherence to company policies, conducted exit interviews, and maintained exit notes in BambooHR. I collaborated with the technology team for smooth onboarding, cross-functional movements, promotions, and exits. I also provided daily support and guidance to employees regarding benefits, payroll, and the HRIS, and coordinated employee leave options, including FMLA.
