Municipal Construction March 2015 – September 2016Journeyman Carpenter, skilled labourer, and operator for the Prime Contractor. Used safety practices in the field. Primarily built sewage and fresh water lift / pump stations for municipalities across Alberta. Worked responsibly in a team environment and independently. Projects included renovations for Edmonton Christian School, Shred-it, and other tenant improvements.

Ground Works July - August 2014 Equipment operator and labourer during the summer months between school courses.. Excavations and ground preparation for foundations, slabs, parking lots, sidewalks and landscape areas. Operated the skid steer, excavator, loader, and compaction equipment.

Commercial Construction June 2008 – February 2014 Safety representative, carpenter, skilled laborer and equipment operator for the Prime Contractor. Primarily base building, tenant improvement and renovations. New built projects consisted of shopping centers, grocery stores, hardware stores, commercial rental units, warehousing and banks. Renovations included Safeway, Walmart and retail projects. Further developed and maintained the Safety Program.

Constructed custom laminate countertops using blanks and from scratch. Work included the Kitchen Craft warranty department. Received and stored shipments, prepared warranty pieces and hardware for installers, completed regular computerized inventory of the warehouse.

Worked across Alberta building fabric covered structures. Buildings were used for equestrian training, municipal storage / utility, heavy equipment repair, building supply warehousing, personal shop, farming, oil and gas, waste management. Sizes from 40’ x 40’ to 120’ x 300’ free span.
