Britenae is the current chair of Ryan Swanson’s Employment Rights, Benefits & Labor Group, leader of the firm's Associate Group, and member of the firm's Strategic Planning Committee. She is a former member of the firm's Executive Committee, Hiring Committee, and leader of the Summer Associate Program.Britenae is a sought-after speaker and regular writer on a multitude of topics in the community including for the Puget Sound Business Journal, Association of Washington Business, Ryan Swanson's annual Employment Law Seminar, employment law training for clients and the community, various CLEs, and with respect to real estate litigation including title insurance and ethics. She also was a panelist at the Women, Diversity & Change conference in Seattle.Britenae’s practice is part litigation and part advising. She is a trial and appellate lawyer, with an extensive and diverse litigation practice but also spends a significant portion of her time counseling and advising clients in seeking practical solutions that meet their business needs in an effort to avoid litigation and to help their businesses grow. Britenae also handles a variety of real property disputes ranging from adverse possession to intricate lien priority issues and many unusual and complex disputes in between.
