I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil; sold my first piece of artwork in elementary school; painted windows for the holidays as a business venture as a child; won first place in the Parada del Sol art competition; skipped a grade in art; and won the Rosette Ribbon, the highest honors at the State Fair, in high school. I continued training in college. Walt Disney and Don Bluth were my absolute inspirations and heroes growing up, and I have always had a deep love and passion for traditional animation. I now specialize in creating commissioned artwork on a freelance basis, with a particular passion for crafting detailed and lifelike portraits of pets, especially dogs. I also love sketching characters in the style of the Disney and Don Bluth classics. I have extensive training and experience in various mediums including pencil, colored pencil, acrylics, oil, digital art, and traditional animation.
