The Digital Organizer is responsible for assisting the Digital Manager with executing daily tasks associated with the oversight of Florida Rising’s digital media efforts, including websites and platforms that include but are not limited to Facebook, Instagram, & Twitter. Responsible for creating and curating shareable content to elevate Florida Rising’s issues in Florida.

Coordinating and implementing an email campaign and newsletter design to strategically reach out to grassroots organizations leading up to the launch of documentary webseries "The War on Cuba." The War on Cuba is an award-winning documentary series executive-produced by Oliver Stone and Danny Glover that takes an in-depth look at the economic war waged by the Trump administration on the Cuban people. Released on YouTube in October 2020 and viewed half-a-million times, the series shows the devastating impact of U.S. sanctions and examines the political and electoral interests driving U.S. policy.

Work on integrating digital assets, raising project awareness, collaborating on marketing campaigns, leading digital activation projects, and measuring the efficiency and effectiveness of digital channels. Voices is a new interdisciplinary performance arts project and campaign grounded in Black women’s stories by V-Day to unify the vision of ending violence against women: cis women, trans women, and non binary people across the African Continent and African Diaspora. The goal is to use art to embody and inspire solidarity-making in our collective imagination.

Community planning and organization of protests, mutual aid calls. Creating graphic designs and managing social media platforms. Set up and take down of community events. As a member of the communications team, responsibilities include running of social media pages and responding to messages from the community as well as creating graphic designs/visual art for informative purposes and for upcoming events. Grassroots organizing.

Lead classroom discussion and conduct lesson plans in the absence of the full-time instructor. Responsible for providing instruction and managing classroom environments in absence of the regular teacher. Required to perform all of the duties of the teacher that they are subbing for.
