Hello, I'm Britt. I've been a Police Officer since 2015 but now I'm looking for a new challenge. In my time with the police I have achieved my PIP Level 2 Investigator qualification which accredits me as a Detective, I have undertaking specialist interview training which provides me with the skills to interview the most challenging offenders and victims and most recently I have become an accredited Financial Intelligence Officer which allows me to access the Financial Intelligence Gateway and conduct intelligence requests of Suspicious Activity Report data bases and with the UK financial sector. I am also currently waiting for my Specialist Fraud Investigator portfolio to be signed off by the National Crime Agency. During my time as an officer I have been involved in many complex and serious investigations from murder, to rape, to fraud and everything in between, picking up Superintendent Commendations and letters of thanks sent directly to Chief Constable. But fraud is my bag! I am that person who gets home in the evening and finds the fraud documentaries to watch. The world of financial crime fascinates me and I would love to progress within it. In my spare time I love to travel the world, explore new cultures and have as many different experiences as possible - to date my favourite is snorkeling with black tip sharks. I am an open minded person who is always willing to learn. I am not afraid of talking to people and my current role has provided me with the challenges of communicating with people from all walks of life from my supervisors, to children, to lawyers, through to Crown Court Judges. It has also provided me with experience of dynamic risk management and decision making with very little information or the requirement to process large amounts of information quickly. I am looking for a new career opportunity with opportunities to learn and progress.
