Started Regional Loan Center, Manage staff of four lenders and one support person in the production of commercial, consumer, residential rental real estate and agricultural loans. Manage bank's participation purchased portfolio.

Established and maintained loan policy for this de novo bank. Managed regulatory examinations and external audits of the loan portfolio. Maintained loan quality at levels among the best banks in the nation. Help grow bank from no loans to $65MM through organic growth, loan purchases and loan participations. Managed lending staff directly and compliance and support staff indirectly. Developed and maintained Allowance for Loan Loss model and performed monthly calculations. Served as member of executive management team.

I joined the bank as Vice President and Credit Administrator and became the Chief Credit Officer in 2002. I led staff of up to 25 in management of bank's loan portfolio with indirect reporting of all bank lending staff of this $1 B bank. Bankcard Group, Loan Operations Group, Special Assets function, Credit Approval Group, Ag Risk Management Group, Real Estate Risk Management Group, and Consumer Lending Group reported through me. Developed and managed regulatory and board reporting. Responsible for loan pricing, and underwriting standards for bank. Designed and implemented credit analysts and lender certification programs. Exercise $10MM approval limit.

I joined the bank on the management training program just out of business school. My first job was as a commercial credit analyst. I quickly became a commercial lender doing C&I and Agricultural loans in Pendleton. I worked as a small business portfolio manager out of the West Metro Business Banking Center. I helped form the Small Business Underwrting Center for the bank and took a job there as a underwriting team manager for Oregon and Idaho. In that job I managed four underwriters and two support staff and served on the management team for the center.
