Hi! My name is Britt. I finished my high school in 2020. I was searching to find my path. The only thing that I was sure of: I wanted to create, inspire, and motivate others. I’m currently exploring and discovering my style in art. As a creator, I’m active on Instagram and Pinterest. Welcome to my creative mess about healing, evolving, romanticizing, and comfort. My day-to-day life might be packed, but I try to enjoy every second of it. I’m either creating digital art, writing a blog, embracing the latest fashion trends, capturing the world around me through a lens, or planning my next trip across the world. I believe if we follow our passions and make experiences from the heart, we go on a journey of self-discovery that creates flow for and with ourselves. And I would love to share that journey with you! Currently, I’m working on my degree in Fashion Branding at Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI). Creating an identity, understanding the importance of the norms and values of a brand, or making the fitted plan to target a new audience makes my heart beat faster. As for my love of fashion, I started my brand nearly 2 years ago: Abstract Studio. I launched my first-ever collection consisting of fully organic clothing and tried to be as sustainable as I currently can be. This project still is in its beginner state, and as the founder I see many ways to improve. Let’s go back to the start. I was born with Scoliosis, which is a condition where my spinal cord curves while I grow. It had been pretty severe, coming to a point where I needed surgery. At the age of 13, the biggest change in my life started. Being the first person in the Netherlands to undergo this type of surgery, the uncertainty of the outcome was nerve-wracking. But I was a girl with big dreams, still am. My disability is not stopping me, it’s only strengthening me further. It feels empowering to know that I could be helping others by setting an example.
