About Britta De Groot

Mijn naam is Britta de Groot. In 2021 ben ik afgestuurd aan het AMFI in de richting ‘Fashion & Branding’. Tijdens mijn opleiding heb ik me gespecialiseerd in duurzaamheid en psychologie. Mijn ambitie is om de mode industrie een stukje duurzamer te maken dan het vandaag de dag is. Tijdens mijn opleiding liep ik stage bij branding & communicatie agency 'W.Green', waar ik leerde hoe 'ethics & aesthetics' in de praktijk kunnen worden gebracht. Daarnaast volgde ik 2 externe minoren. Allereerst 'Sustainable Society', hier kwam ik in aanraking met allerlei facetten van duurzaamheid. Daarna volgde ik de minor 'Toegepaste Psychologie' waarin mijn focus lag op duurzaam gedrag en gedragsverandering. Met mijn afstudeerproject onderzocht ik hoe je dit in praktijk kunt brengen door voor HEMA een digitale tool te ontwikkelen die duurzaamheid toegankelijk maakt voor alle Nederlanders. Sinds november 2021 ben ik aan de slag als Visual Merchandise Ambassador bij Scotch & Soda in Groningen, om in de praktijk te leren wat het gedrag van consumenten is en veel nieuwe ervaringen op te doen!
