The German Jordanian Career Services project at GJU aims at supporting, educating and upskilling candidates from GJU and Jordan for the German labor market and provide likewise positive impulses for the development of the Jordanian education system and labor market.

I was responsible for the establishment and development of GJU's Office for Industrial Links (OIL) to support GJU's method of applied teaching and applied research by building bridges between academia and industry through:- building up strong relationships with the Jordanian and German industries so that companies are ready to provide first-hand working experience for GJU students by offering training, internships, and jobs for GJU Graduates.- strengthening the industry partnerships by organizing special business events, lectures, field visits, workshops, and company presentations.- attracting companies from Germany, Jordan and the region as potential investors and sponsors (e.g. to invest in training centers, workshops, incubators, labs).-building up a GJU career center and organizing regular Career Fairs for students and graduates.-providing career services for GJU’s students and graduates.- preparing students for and supporting them during the internship application process for their internship in Germany. - setting up an innovation and entrepreneurship support program (PIE) and innovation space.- establishing Dual Study programs at GJU.
