Coordinate student staff recruitment each semester for all areas of University Recreation. Train 8-10 UREC Ambassadors to assist in recruitment. Create and update recruitment presentations. Plan and coordinate educational events on behalf of the IT Division and the Office of the CIO such as roundtables, IT Security Awareness Week and project management trainings, as well as vendor-related events with Apple, Microsoft and Dell; including menu planning, event-set up, invitations and coordinating with outside vendors.Public speaking and representation TTU IT Division at campus events such as Red Raider Orientation and other resource fairs, and as well as Lubbock community events such as the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce Business Expo, South Plains Tech Prep Career Fair; assist in designing displays and handouts for these events.Present IT Division services and resources, as well as presentations about online safety and social media safety to campus and Lubbock community groups. Serve as public relations face of CISER (Center for the Integration of Science Education and Research)- coordinate and attend local, regionsl and state meetings on behalf of CISER. Coordinate and implement seamless freshmen experience programs with professional committees, including Summer Reading Program, Red Raider Camp, Red Raider Nights, and Welcome Week.Revise, coordinate and implement all activities related to Red Raider Camp (RRC) - including planning for camp activities, recruitment of campers at New Student Orientation, design of RRC marketing materials, arranging for facilities at the Tech Junction campus, arrange for TTU Alumni speakers, recruitment & training for 25 Red Raider Camp student leaders; supervise freshmen and student leaders while at camp, maintain accurate database of Red Raider Camp attendees, assess & report success of Red Raider Camp and students who attend.
