Recognized and compensated on SolarWinds “High Value Employee” list for both 2009 and 2010.Leadership duties included care-and-feeding for a 170+ person software engineering organization located across three onshore (Austin, Dallas, Tulsa) and four offshore development centers (Brno, CZ; Napier, NZ; Lviv, UA; Chennai, IN); a 55+ person support organization located across two onshore (Austin, Dallas) and two offshore centers (Cork, IE; Singapore, SG); and a 10 person web development team. Executive duties included stewardship of $35MM budget; conducting due diligence on numerous, multi-million dollar corporate acquisitions; integrating two acquired companies (a ~50 person storage and a ~30 person virtualization company); creating a Global Operations Team; bringing 7 new products to market; growing head count 42% over 20 month tenure while maintaining exceptional retention rates; and identifying, hiring, mentoring, and developing senior leaders at the Director level and above. Product Strategy and Engineering duties included supervising multiple, iterative releases of six product lines (Network, Applications, Virtualization, Storage, Transactional, and Free Tools) comprising 13+ individual products.
