Britta is a visionary that functions as a deliberate & analytical leader ready to change the broken paradigms of our society to re-imagine the healthcare sector while promoting work-life balance. She obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Health & Fitness Management at Northern Michigan University while competing at the national and world level as an Olympic training athlete. While managing a doctor's office, she gained her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy (OT). Prior to opening her own practice, she utilized her professional experience in pediatric development, early intervention, protective factors, physical activity, nutrition & social-emotional learning. Her mission is driven by asking unconventional questions which lead her to creating unconventional solutions. She is passionate about removing barriers: creating, updating & customizing medical information as well as re-engaging those that were forced out of the workforce due to lack of childcare. Knowing she wanted to call Marquette, MI, home she began building toolkits based on setting, diagnosis & treatment. She realized that the paper information was cumbersome to store & meanwhile the documents became outdated with time. As a result, she set out to create a control-find (Ctrl+F) solution to centralize information sharing among medical professionals, specifically occupational, physical & speech therapy practitioners. She not only wanted to assist practitioners, but families as well, to be able to access, utilize & capture information that would otherwise be limited to urban environments and content experts. Med Pros Share allows for transference-of-learning across settings & specialties, when knowledge would otherwise be left behind post-retirement for example. Creating childcare solutions that work for today's young families is an integral piece to providers partnering with Med Pros Share. This solution enables other entrepreneurs to build up their practice by providing them with office space, tools, childcare and resources to thrive. She is passionate about finding a way to keep new parents engaged through raising children by being able to earn income with access to on-site childcare & the ability to treat clients while creating resources from those sessions that can generate passive income. This system allows research to advance by enabling practitioners to access to a job board to continually peer-review and get reimbursed for their work. One of her favorite quotes, by Brene Brown states, "I am not here to be right. I am here to get it right," & that is what she will do.
