The Kendall School curriculum seeks to aid children diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by providing early intensive behavior and language therapy. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is used to help develop skills in learners with Autism in efforts to improve communication, social relationships, and academics.Job Tasks- Provide one-on-one therapy with ASD children using ABA techniques and discrete trail training to teach behavioral management, language, and social skills.- Work with Early Start Autism Intervention Program (ESAIP) clients in their homes to help jump start behavioral learning during infancy.- Provide supplemental support to children in general and special education classroom settings.- Create structured "playtimes" with normal developing peers to help ASD children learn through social and peer instruction.- Attend trimonthly meetings with client staff to discuss progress and ways to improve learning.
