Our fleet of collars are continuously streaming high-frequency animal movement data, which we integrate with satellite images and other data sources to form a rich picture of our farms at any point in time. Our ML models integrate this data to predict everything from a cow's health and pregnancy status, through to the amount of grass in each paddock, and the health and performance of our IoT devices in the field.Tasks include- Leading experiments that facilitate data-backed conclusions to implement new (firmware & software) features via A/B testing- Designing and implementing complex data pipelines to ETL IoT data. Streamlining the ingestion of data using AWS applications such as S3, Athena, Glue, and non-AWS applications such as Terraform (and more), for live Grafana dashboards that display actionable metrics.- Utilizing unsupervised ML techniques to support our marketing team with clear customer segmentation for directed and actioned campaigns. In addition, utilising supervised ML techniques to predict production outputs based on GeoTiff topology and IoT data - Designing backend metrics to facilitate data-driven insights. These guide strategic decision-making to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and affordability of Halter's software & hardware engineering systems.- A LOT of ETL & ELT + data cleaning 🧼
