I am dedicated to making the world more resilient through sustainable solutions. My experience in sustainability is in both business development and conservation management. I have experience in strategy development in sustainable tourism and combining nature conservation with economic stability for local communities. Using sustainable tourism as a conservation tool prioritizes the importance of both the environment and community without compromising either one.In Switzerland, I developed approaches for circular economy solutions, innovative solutions for a more sustainable business and provided multiple sustainable strategies in projects with NGOs. These included ecosystem services, conservation policy and identifying conservation funding opportunities. For example, I worked with WWF’s CA|TS Manager, Khalid Pasha and TOFTigers’ Founder and Chairman, Julian Mathews to develop a set of sustainable strategies using tourism as a critical conservation tool in an effort to preserve and increase the tiger population in India. Using Indian governmental policy, carrying capacity, and communication, I identified a way to accomplish this through communication, education and empowerment. I provided this research and development to Khalid Pasha and Julian Mathews to use in their future conservation efforts.
