I worked in debt collection for almost 5 years 3 of which were in management. During my five years with Underwood Law Firm, I managed 4 other employees and took on management level responsibilities as well as regular employee responsibilities. Currently, I'm a paralegal with Husch Blackwell in the Healthcare Group and concentrating on the area of Commercial Litigation. I manage new workflow, client charts and overflow work from Attorneys and other Paralegals.I help attorneys in fact investigation, legal research, document preparation, and written discovery. I create and prepare sub files, prepare trial exhibit notebooks and maintain case management databases. I have an extensive background in post-judgment recovery that includes garnishing of bank accounts and wages in Illinois and Missouri, personal property levies and knowledge of bankruptcy procedures. I also have arbitration and mediation experience in large complex cases. I have a Bachelors of Science in Legal Studies.
