I have had the pleasure of working in the SUD/MH field since 2015. I have experience working in admissions (over the phone) as well as approx 2+ years of experience with clients face-to-face. I have assisted in many crisis interventions with clients in person as well as over the phone. I have first-hand experience in crisis situations (overdose protocol knowledge, CPR certified, AED trained). I also have basic knowledge regarding insurance policies and how they work within the treatment industry. Working in the field of Substance Abuse for many years, I have been exposed to many situations as and people - I have had the pleasure of being able to work with a diverse group of clients, which has given me the gift of striving towards self-awareness to better serve those of all cultural backgrounds. I do my best to take a phenomenological approach and do my best to see the client as a whole person - not just a person with a substance use or mental health disorder. I have exceptional people skills and the ability to empathize with a client to be able to meet them where they are at.
