I believe our students are our future and it is the responsibility of teachers to prepare students for a changing, diverse and sustainable world. My hope as a teacher is to engender a life-long love of learning, feeling of hope and sense of purpose in all students; celebrating each individual’s unique contribution inside and outside the classroom. Teachers have the opportunity to influence students’ lives and should be fulfilled with integrity and enthusiasm. Teaching is a privilege to be enjoyed but not to be taken lightly. As a teacher, I hope to construct my classroom into a secure and inspiring platform for all students. I understand the importance of engagement and differentiated teaching practice in developing all levels of learning socially, emotionally and academically. I know the value of expectation and support when encouraging students to strive and achieve personal excellence.
