Working with pediatric hematology/oncology outpatient children I reduce the traumatic impact of hospitalization on pediatric patients and there families. Aim to reduce the stress and anxiety of pediatric patients by promoting effective coping through play, education, and preparation. Advocate for pediatric patients as a member of the multidisciplinary team. Promote normalcy, self-expression, and optimal development for children in the hospital setting.
