I am currently a stay at home parent to four children, ages 3-7. I write and maintain a blog for poetry as well as homeschooling and working towards my second bachelors degree in creative writing/EnglishI started writing again about a year ago after a long hiatus. I have begun posting some of my work on my blog “A Place For My Words”. Two of my more recent poems have been published in Harness Magazine, an online and print forum for millennial women.I served as a an Air Force office and intelligence analyst for six years. Some of my primary duties included data collection and analysis on enemy tactics, training and procedures. I also managed a number of security clearance programs, developed a standard and evaluation program for intelligence analysts at my unit, and was the primary intelligence instructor for over 250 students at the Air Force B-52 training unit.My favorite job during my time in the service was my role as a teacher and advisor to aircrew and my fellow airmen. It was my love for this that lead me to stay home and take care of my young family, and is driving me to pursue more education and a teaching certificate.
