• Lead the first transactional employment law practice for the global central entity of the world’s largest professional services network• Cultivate cross-border relationships and drive all human capital-related contract negotiations between Deloitte Global and international Member Firms’ general counsels, business, and tax leaders• Create and successfully execute strategy to enable the global central entity to leverage thousands of personnel by drafting and leading negotiations of a Professional Services Agreement for approximately 170 countries within Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America • Advise and counsel global leaders on restructurings, global mobility, immigration, recruiting, reductions in force, misconduct, internal investigations, contingent labor, AI, employment agreements, severance, and worker classifications• Lead negotiations and draft global mobility agreements, including assignment and services agreements across all global business lines to streamline processes and create precedent• Lead negotiations and draft procurement agreements pertaining to global contingent labor workforce, including staff augmentation agreements with third party vendors, and independent contractor and consulting agreements• Collaborate strategically by creating a cross-functional, international working group, including the CTO, business leaders, and other SMEs to advise on topics at the intersection of human resources, tax, finance, data privacy, intellectual property, and technology services• Mitigate employment-related risks by performing legal risk assessments and driving strategic decisions around operations and integration of the global workforce• Act as the lead counselor for the Chief People Officer to influence people location strategy, talent integration, performance management, India operations, and global role guidelines• Draft, review, and revise employment-related policies, best practices guidance, and process documents

• Drafted, prepared legal research, and negotiated employment-related agreements, including offer letters, consulting agreements, separation agreements, confidentiality agreements, and restrictive covenants• Advised Fortune 500 companies on labor and employment matters for hundreds of complex U.S. and multinational corporate transactions (M&A), often exceeding a billion dollars in value, including: - Assessing a target’s labor and employment law compliance and risks through due diligence - Advising on collective bargaining agreements and labor union/works council relations - Negotiating and drafting labor and employment provisions of purchase agreements - Advising on transfer of personnel data in compliance with laws such as CCPA, GDPR, and HIPAA - Managing a team of junior associates through the lifecycle of the deal process• A representative sample of the diverse industries and transactions include: - Intel in its $1 billion acquisition of its smartphone modem business by Apple - Honeywell in its $1.3 billion acquisition of AI SaaS life sciences company, Sparta Systems - PayPal Holdings, Inc. in its acquisition of Honey Science Corporation for approximately $4 billion• Directly counseled multinational employers on compliance with laws and regulations, such as adhering to federal, state, and local wage and hour laws (including the California Labor Code), implementing reductions in force in compliance with WARN and OWBPA, preventing trade secret misappropriation, drafting employment policies and handbooks, investigating harassment claims, and classifying employees and independent contractors• Counseled, litigated, and managed dispute resolution in matters such as: - Argued a successful wage and hour case in a California DLSE hearing - Led adoption hearings for nine children in conjunction with the Alliance for Children’s Rights• Los Angeles Pro Bono Coordinator; West Coast LGBTQ+ Affinity Group Chair

• Served as a Child Advocate and drafted briefs for several unaccompanied immigrant children in federal custody, primarily LGBTQ youth from the Middle East and North Africa region• Drafted briefs and advocated for child’s best interest by applying federal and state law
