I am an innovative school district administrator with 18 years of experience designing and implementing instructional resources and assessments. I have spent seven years designing mathematics curriculum for the 50 elementary schools within The School District of Lee County, the ninth largest school district in Florida. The teachers in this county-wide district have come to rely on the instruction and common assessments which I have created. My current role allows me to design resources, support and train administrators, instructional coaches, and teachers in how to use the curriculum and best practices for mathematics instruction. My coaching techniques are well received and highly sought after within the district.I am a leader and a team player who believes collaboration is key. I seek both quantitative and qualitative feedback from my team and those who use my curriculum to guide consistent improvement. My vast skill set of creating, planning, and delivering quality instruction and professional learning is ever evolving, and I always strive to create the best product. Additionally, I was honored to be invited and sit on the item review, data review, rubric validation, and standard setting committees for with the Test Development Center from FLDOE as well as Cambium Assessment.
