My research and innovative efforts focus on how anxiety, depression, and personal perceptions of illness impact clinical outcomes and overall quality of life. An individual’s self-concept and perceived ability to manage their condition have predictive value for clinical outcomes beyond symptom severity and pathophysiology. As a medical student at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (Class of 2027), I bring over six years of translational research experience focused on pulmonary medicine, mental health, and digital technologies. I graduated with honors from the University of Virginia, concentrating in Neuroscience and Behavior, and have published work in collaboration with Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Columbia University/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and UVA's Program for Anxiety, Cognition, and Treatment. My commitment to advancing healthcare innovation is reflected in my work with Ignite Mental Health, hol3health, Herself Health, and, most recently, as co-founder of Next Breath.I am passionate about cardiopulmonary medicine, digital health accessibility, precision medicine, and integrated behavioral health solutions, and I am continually focused on learning and growing in these areas.
