Shift test engineer at Huntington Ingalls Industries in Newport News, VA. Tested and analyzed systems on newly constructed aircraft carriers to be deployed by the United States Navy. Directly oversaw and controlled all work controls, operations, and testing required for the on-time construction, initial fill, and cold operations test program of the nuclear propulsion plant on board the USS John F. Kennedy (CVN 79). Participated in once-in-a-lifetime hydrostatic testing, the establishment of chemical processes, and the initial fill of various reactor plant systems. Supported the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) during multiple in port periods to prepare the ship for deployments and Shock Trials.

Worked in collaboration with the Advanced Security Cabin Environments team located in Huntsville on the subject of chemical contamination and systems integration. A main contributor to the optimization of decontamination and development of computational modeling for both particle delivery and optical lens efficiency. Also worked with the Enterprise Paints & Coatings in BR&T Chemical Technologies and served as a safety lead. Strengths are in accelerated curing of coatings, fluid dynamics and particle delivery, systems and processes engineering, and LEAN+ initiatives.

Interned as a Student Research Assistant at CFDRC. Contributed work on a number of highly advanced projects for a number of agencies including, but not limited to, the Navy, the Air Force, and the Department of Defense. Supported development of a computational model for drug transport validation studies administered to the human eye and experimentally evaluated the effect of nanoparticle delivery on lung cells utilizing CFDRC SynVivo devices.
