The Sr. Workshop Coordinator is responsible for coordinating logistics forapproximately 75-100 workshop days per year, including hotel and transportation,ordering and shipping of workshop materials, and customer, colleague, andvendor communications. The Sr. Workshop Coordinator supervises the dailyactivities of other Workshop staff. Currently, supervising the Workshop Registrar position. Job Duties: o Search for and select appropriate sites/venues for workshops. Provide oversight onall logistics to ensure that specs and costs are the best available, competitive, andmeet company needs, including room rates, meeting spaces, A/V, and meal functionrequirements and pricing.o Negotiate and approve contracts related to assigned workshops.o Communicate with venue contact during planning stage, review banquet eventorders, order food & beverage, ensure meeting room is set up correctly, and AVneeds are met.o Communicate and maintain positive relationships with National Presenters andWorkshop and Presenter Assistants. Coordinate travel and create and send itineraryand presenter packages.o Assist with checking in, shipping out, and tracking AV cases sent to companysponsored workshops.o Maintain positive relationships with site/venue representatives that hold companyworkshops.o Complete post event follow up, including vendor bill reconciliation and submittingcheck requests for invoices for all elements of event.o Edit and update forms, policies, and procedures related to company sponsoredworkshops.o Respond to company sponsored workshop coordination questions.o Provide office management support when necessary including answering phonesand support of Registrar duties.o Coordinate Level 1 Certificationo Assists in hiring and train, motivate, evaluate, and supervise staff to ensureemployees receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish establishedobjectives.o Assist Workshop Operations group on special projects, as needed
