-Voice of operations since FEL3 on multi-million dollar capital expansion project. Assisted the process design engineering team in develop the design of the new process and how it ties into the current site processes. Addressed safety and operation best practices.-Owned and developed all Startup, Commissioning, and Turnover documentation for process towers I was responsible for. Developed Temporary Procedures for startup.-Managed $2.6MM deconstruction of a process tower with zero safety incidents to enable reconstruction for the new process. Led the identification and removal of piping and equipment, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to efficiently execute the partial deconstruction of the process tower.-Led design reviews across multiple teams to ensure design met the needs of many of the different groups on site that will interact with the process.- Developed Vessel Internal Installation Plans for over 400 FBR internals and 18 Distillation Trays in a distillation column. Worked with multiple contractor groups, safety, emergency services, and operations teams to develop a plan to install the internals while maintaining a safe and clean environment.-Own and overhauled Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Specifications (Controls), and Maintenance procedures for accuracy for a new process.

-Executed a 5x2 multifactorial Design of Experiment (DOE) on a running process to determine the most impactful variables bulk purity of the polysilicon. Once the DOE was completed, statistical control limits were implemented to maintain acceptable performance on electronic grade polysilicon.-Implemented a new recipe to 9 chemical vapor deposition reactors to improve yield by 5.4%. Collaborated on a multidisciplinary team to complete the implementation. This project received the HSC internal Impact Award for Q1 of 2020.- Identified and managed 20 bulk purity improvement projects across multifunctional teams to enhance process indication and performance gap responses. These projects generated positive outcomes with up to 96% improvement to the impurity specification.-Served as the Manufacturing Representative on several multi-million-dollar Capitol Projects to make large scale improvements. Including equipment relocation, upgrades, and installing of new equipment.

-Evaluated offline cycle times of reactors to identify outliers and reasons for the differences using Spotfire and Excel. Cataloged multiple solutions that could decrease cycle times and improve production. -Assessed and justified a more robust pressure check on the heating/cooling jacket of reactors. This assisted with identifying leaking flanges to prevent a loss of containment.-Increased accuracy from several hours to twenty minutes on the scheduling system to better predict when a reactor will be ready to harvest, to reduce unnecessary down time.

Responsibilities Included:-Configured the logic, using Honeywell Control Builder, for environmental calculations for a flare to track environmental criteria. Updated the PI Process Book page for improved availability to the data.-Analyzed the financial impact of using Advanced Process Controls on the Vacuum Heaters. -Built the logic for a bypass switch to allow start-up on a piece of equipment when there is an active ‘Low Low’ Alarm.

Responsibilities Included:-Designed and implemented changes to the Process Hazard Analysis procedure to streamline the evaluation post audit on 120 PHA’s. This ensured OSHA compliance and refinery standards were attained.-Reduced the active number of Temporary Management of Changes by 25% to minimize the risk to personnel, equipment, and environment.-Created a Proceduralized Management of Change form to establish consistency with documentation standards.
